A concealed grid system is a type of ceiling installation where the supporting grid framework is hidden from view after the ceiling tiles are installed. This creates a smooth, uninterrupted ceiling surface with a more refined and elegant appearance.

How it works:

- Grid System: Similar to exposed grids, concealed grid systems also use a network of metal channels suspended from the building's structural ceiling.

- Ceiling : Concealed grid system uses normal ceiling plaster boards that are attached over the grid and covers the complete grid, thereafter the boards are plaster skimmed to create a smooth ceiling surface

Why use a concealed grid system?

- Aesthetics: Concealed grids offer a clean, monolithic look that is often preferred in spaces where aesthetics are a priority, such as high-end offices, hotels, and residential settings. They create a sense of spaciousness and elegance.

- Design Flexibility: Concealed grid systems can accommodate a wider variety of tile designs and finishes, including those with intricate patterns or textures, without the interruption of visible grid lines.
